This is the last Monday in July and this is my FIRST Monday Made It all summer. Seriously, I am ashamed. I have not done anything this summer. Now that I have a few weeks, the race is on, right?
My first, (and only) Monday Made It is not school related though.
I celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary this past week. I was gone for CAMT on the actual day though. (I came home later that day)
Anyway... I wanted to have something for my husband on the morning of, so I enlisted my older child and he made sure my husband had a card and a simple gift before he left for work.
I have seen versions of this on Pinterest, of course.
I decided to do the map of special places to us. It was so stupidly easy and cheap!
After several layers of the modge podge, I sprayed them with sealer so they won't peel.
Plus, it made them smooth and a little shiny.
Finished product
I forgot to take a picture, but they have small round circles on the bottom to prevent scraping desks, coffee tables, etc...
It just makes me want to make more coasters of different things. My next endeavor will be with pictures.
I am in the middle of a school product. It has become a monster though. It will be ready for next Monday. I am thrilled that I will actually have something to share, two weeks in a row.
Also, I am having a summer giveaway!

Happy Anniversary. Love this idea! Did you buy the tiles at some place like Home Depot or Menards?
ReplyDeleteI bought them at Home Depot. I chose the stone because the 9th anniversary is "pottery". You can do it on any type of tile.
