The day before....

The day before I finally go on vacation!!!! Those of you who follow me are probably sick of hearing about this planned Vegas trip. I comment on it all the time, I know! It is finally here!!!

My boarding pass is printed and laundry is almost complete. No, I am not packed, but I will be soon!

The refrigerator is stocked for my boys.

And now for my other world; Blogging!

1st: I am guest blogging today over at 4mula Fun! I am so excited. Jennifer is a math guru to me so it was an honor for her to ask me to write about planning for Interactive Notebooking.
Please check it out if you have a chance.

2nd: It's Friday, so here's a freebie for you!

3rd: Be sure to come back and visit next week. Monday is my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY and there will much to celebrate next week. I may be in Vegas, but I want you to have some fun too.

Types of Graphs Foldable

It's Friday, an early release for us, AND the beginning of our Spring Break!!!!

How about a link up with TBA for Friday Freebies!

So, I made this foldable after seeing what  Live Teach Create  made for converting rational numbers.

Then I "piggybacked" off it to make this new foldable for types of graphs.

I wrote everything and made examples to help with time. Students will be creating their own graphs throughout the week.

Click the picture or here for the freebie from my NEW Teachers Pay Teachers store! Yes, I finally took the plunge! I have a lot of work to do on it, but I do have a store now.

Converting Rational Numbers Foldable

Saw this on Pinterest and then realized I follow this blog. (true stalker here!)

We are doing Enrichment Camps for targeted sub pops and we are making these for review. Next year, everyone is making these. Besides being colorful and cool, it is a wealth of knowledge!!!

I use interactive notebooks DAILY and this will be a great resource for my kids.

Foldables for our Math Notebooks

Linking up for Friday Freebie from TBA!

This week we made a few cool things for our Interactive Math Journals.

First, we made a vocabulary wheel. It wasn't a perfect circle, so it is off a bit, but the idea works.

Students wrote their definitions in each "pie piece". Then they randomly wrote their words on the outside. We put them in a pocket in our journals and they can "study" them anytime they want.

Next, I created a Greatest Common Factor foldable. It was from a template comparing the sun and moon, but I was proud that it was my own idea to use for GCF. (just patting myself on the back over here)

We did this together on the right side. Students will do some problems on their own tomorrow, on the left side.
