October Currently

So excited for the month of October! 

Fall is here, hopefully cooler weather will be here soon (I'm in Texas, it takes a while) 

And it's time to link up with Farley for Currently! 

Listening: Our baseball game got cancelled so I am listening to the playoffs. I have no dog in this fight. Just letting it be the background noise. 

Loving: I am loving our new 1:1 iPad Initiative. I need to find time to blog about it. Overall, it is going really well.

Today, I had several visitors including our superintendent, board members and a citizen of our town who wants to know how we are using them. It could not have gone better. 

Thinking: Is there going to come a time when I don't feel so behind and up to eyeballs in everything?

Wanting: I started this blog to help me start enjoying teaching middle school. It has been amazing. I hate when I don't have time to share though. There are so many great things going on and I want to share them with you. Plus, I want to read your blogs and I am sooo behind!!! 

Needing: Seriously, the list is ridiculous and if I start writing it, I might cry. 

Trick or Treat: well, I was thrilled when I first saw this. I thought, "Oh, I can just whip something out and post it." Um... really, didn't I just share how my list is overwhelming? Why do I add to my stress? So, instead, I will link you to a freebie I shared a free weeks ago. They are candy rewards/motivators for when my students score a 100 on their test. They can be used for any reward though. I had wanted to do some cute Halloween themed ones with my new clip art. But, really, that is not going to happen tonight. So, enjoy these instead!
